Placement cell

There is a placement cell in our college to help our students seek jobs in various offices and private firms. In this regard, we are in regular contact with Industries and Offices and invite them from time to time for campus placement. Our college offers placement in various companies like Future Group, Big Bazaar and Pantaloon etc. Many students have been offered good jobs and are serving there.

Gymkhana

Gymkhana is an association of all the staff and students of the institute. The Gymkhana is also a platform for recreational, social and cultural activities for the members of the GYMKHANA. This will also foster, encourage, sustain and coordinate sports, arts and culture. We have developed excellent facilities for sports and recreation. Our students participate in different sports activities like cricket, chess, kabaddi, badminton, volleyball, athletics, football, table-tenis, swimming etc during inter college competitions held by VNSGU.

National Service Scheme (NSS)

The N.S.S. unit in our college functions under the guidance and supervision of experienced NSS Program Officers. NSS activities are broadly divided into two heads: Regular Activities and Annual camps. The noteworthy regular activities undertaken by the NSS units of the Institute are the Tree Plantation Campaign, AIDS Awareness Program, Visit to the Blind School, Distribution of food to the poor patients in the Civil Hospital, Literacy Campaign, Filaria Awareness Campaign, Pulse Polio Campaign, Medical Camps, Blood Donation Camp, Rehabilitation Program for those affected by natural calamities, Cleanliness drive, Voluntary collection of donation from the students on the Flag Day, etc.

Computer Laboratory

Four sophisticated, well-equipped and air-conditioned Computer Labs with more than 280 computers and wireless and wired Broadband Internet facility.

Refreshment

The College canteen has a special role to play in the education, health and well-being of the students and the school community they serve. Our College also has Canteen Facilities for students so they can get hygienic healthy food.

Multimedia Room

Smart Class is a solution designed to help teachers in meeting with new challenges and developing students' abilities and performance. It helps the teachers to access multimedia content and information that can be used for teaching students more effectively. It helps the teachers in expressing their views and ensures the teacher that every student understands and learns. Smart Class helps the students in understanding the concepts. A well designed module allows a student to visualize the concept much better than static images. Smart class uses various technologies to teach students such as T.V., L.C.D., Computers. Data can be downloaded and installed from web to computer. We have a Digital Room in which faculty members conduct lectures on T.V. with Laptop attached. Consequently, students can understand easily and it is more effective than the chalk and talk method.
